ski touring, ski mountaineering, backcountry skiing
I am your guide with Finlav avalanche technician training for the entire duration of the ski touring trip.
On my trips, safety and enjoyment are emphasized.
My trips are designed for those who want to explore the world of freeriding or safely get to know the local slopes. An essential part of the experience is snow safety, which means we always have avalanche beacons, probes, and shovels with us, and we will familiarize ourselves with their use. When skiing, we always wear helmets.
The trips are suitable for both beginners and those with a bit more experience in freeriding. If you can ski confidently on a groomed red slope and have skied off-piste from the lifts, you are welcome on my trips. The choice of location depends on the skill level of the group, weather conditions, and the participants' preferences.
On freeride trips, we plan the routes for the following day based on the weather conditions from the previous days, as well as the skill levels and preferences of the participants. Decisions are always made as a group, and everyone has the right to express their opinion. All trips include a Garmin GPSMAP® 66i satellite phone, which allows for communication even outside of mobile network coverage.
The group price for a guided day trip is €390, including 25.5% VAT. The recommended group size for one guide is 2-6 people. If you have a larger group, we will include an assistant guide or guides. For multi-day trips, the price will be determined separately. The price includes guiding and light snacks. Please remember to arrange your own insurance.
I live in Levi, but on my trips, I travel to places like Pallas and Norway (Tamok, Narvik, Tromsø, Lyngen).
